Naked Man Halts Traffic on I-93, Second Similar Incident Reported

In a bizarre turn of events, traffic on I-93 was brought to a standstill Sunday afternoon due to a naked man laying in the travel lanes near exit 15, prompting multiple calls to Massachusetts State Police around 4:15 p.m. Upon arrival, troopers detained the man and secured him in a cruiser while EMS was called to the scene. He was subsequently transported to Boston Medical Center, with police in tow. The man’s identity remains undisclosed.

This incident eerily echoes a similar occurrence reported just the day before. State police were alerted to a naked man jogging in the middle of Route 79 North, close to the Fall River and Freetown border. According to The Fall River Reporter, this individual was calm but suffered from bleeding knees and feet and was also taken to a local hospital by EMS.

Further complicating matters, a video viewed by Boston.com suggests that the man involved in the I-93 disruption matches the description of the individual from the Fall River incident, although it remains uncertain if the two incidents are connected.
